Looking for an elementary art pattern project? This design a snake art project is specifically designed for kindergarten art and older to review and teach elements of art and principles of design with a focus on pattern.
This one-day elementary art pattern project introduces students to these elements and principles by having students design a snake drawing. Students design their own snake after learning how to create a pattern and different types of pattern. They add color to make their snake drawing pop. Optional adaptions are included to simplify or make this project more complex.
Show still images of the activity steps while you demonstrate to appeal to a wide variety of learners in addition to a demo video, read-aloud book option, and project guide to help students understand the steps.
