This is a perfect art lesson intro to sculpture that takes just one day to create.
In this paper mask art project, students are introduced to artwork from the Democratic Republic of Congo with Kifwebe masks. Students apply inspiration from the masks to create their own 2D paper mask that is transformed into a 3D form.
