This advanced art Curriculum includes everything you need to teach a full year in an advanced art or is AP® Art and Design (Advanced Placement® Art) course.

This curriculum can be taught as a year-long advanced art course or as guided assignments first semester of AP© Art. A timeline and syllabus for an advanced art course is included as a bonus file. A timeline for adapting assignments to your AP© Art course is included in the main download.
In AP Art it is helpful to start the semester off with guided assignments. These guided assignments will train students to think in an inquiry and investigative way when considering their artwork. Through this pack, students get to choose from guided assignments to create inquiries, investigate, practice, experiment, revise, communicate, and reflect. Going through this process at the start of the year will prepare them for an in-depth sustained investigation through 15 works of art.
