Description
Spring is here, it’s time to celebrate it in your art class with a spring art project. This art lesson focuses on the traditional art process of Pysanky egg dying, translating that into a quick one-day drawing activity. Students use lines and shapes to decorate an egg template using red and blue markers, for young elementary students, or a selected color scheme, for upper elementary through high school art students.
This pack includes everything you need to teach two variations of the Pysanky egg drawing project. 2 demo videos, 2 PowerPoint presentations, 2 project guides, and 2 activities are included to gear this project to younger or older students.
Students from kindergarten through high school can have fun with this spring art lesson. This is the perfect day before spring break project or a way to celebrate spring in your art room.

This product was created in collaboration with my amazing, wonderful mother, Anne Ward. She is a retired elementary art teacher of over 30 years. She has a wealth of knowledge in the art education field and still teaches private lessons, summer sessions, and acts as a resource for her former school county. My mom is the reason I became an art educator and now I am so excited to team up with her so she can help inspire other art teachers!
