This small work of art is perfect to sit on a shelf, fill a small space, or hang with a grouping to create a gallery wall.

Encaustic is a unique art form that creates an ethereal and nostalgic look that is one-of-a-kind.

What is encaustic? Encaustic is a mixture of beeswax and damar resin. It is melted and fused as layers are added. While it can be scratched, it is a durable surface that will protect collaged layers for years to come. Over time the surface may dull. if you want to maintain a shiny surface all you have to do is periodically rub your palm over the top to buff it back to a high shine.
